Ryan is the Managing Member and a co-founder of the firm. He has worked with retail companies and real estate developers on leasing and other transactional matters for over 30 years, either in-house as an employee or as outside counsel since beginning his own practice, Ryan A. Schreiber, P.C., prior to the formation of the firm. Ryan worked in various capacities at Petrie Stores, Party City, The Children’s Place, New York & Company and dELiA*s, the last two as general counsel. He earned his BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from Hofstra University School of Law. Ryan is based in our Hawaii office, and is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York and Hawaii.

Sal is a Member of the firm and one of its co-founders. He has focused his practice for nearly 25 years on the representation of retail companies and real estate developers, having worked at The Children’s Place and New York & Company, and subsequently at real estate developer Urban Edge, prior to joining Fast Retailing (which operated brands such as Uniqlo, Theory, J Brand and Helmut Lang). Sal received a BS from Rutgers University and his JD from Pace University School of Law. He is licensed in New Jersey and New York, and is based in Park Ridge, NJ.

Andrea joined the firm as “of counsel” in Summer 2021. She has over 25 years of experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including both development and leasing. Andrea most recently was Associate General Counsel at Urban Edge and, prior to that, a partner at Mandelbaum Salsburg, where she practiced for over 15 year
Andrea joined the firm as “of counsel” in Summer 2021. She has over 25 years of experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including both development and leasing. Andrea most recently was Associate General Counsel at Urban Edge and, prior to that, a partner at Mandelbaum Salsburg, where she practiced for over 15 years, handling a myriad of commercial leasing and other sophisticated real estate transactions for various international, national and regional retailers. Based in South Orange, NJ, Andrea earned her BA at Binghamton University and her JD at Cardozo School of Law. She is licensed in New Jersey, New York and California.

Howard has been “of counsel” to the firm since November 2023. He has over 35 years of corporate and real estate experience, culminating in managing a department of over 30 people while still completing at least 150 deals per year. Howard was previously Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel, Retail Legal Leasing, at Brookfie
Howard has been “of counsel” to the firm since November 2023. He has over 35 years of corporate and real estate experience, culminating in managing a department of over 30 people while still completing at least 150 deals per year. Howard was previously Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel, Retail Legal Leasing, at Brookfield Properties Retail, one of the preeminent shopping center operators in the world. In addition to his vast retail leasing experience, he has a strong background in office leasing, lease administration and retail operations. While at Brookfield, he was the business “owner” who managed the creation and implementation of various proprietary programs, including lease drafting software and document management solutions. In an earlier life, he was a store manager for a national retailer, specializing in stores under renovation, and has sat on the board of several non-profits. Howard earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota/Twin Cities, and he is licensed in Illinois and Minnesota.
